Quote Challenge – Living Life

Rory, from the blog A Guy Called Bloke and K9 Doodlepip has issued me another quote challenge. This time, the topic is Living Life. I think Rory knew that I would love this topic, and he was right. There are so many good quotes about how to live your life, and, of course, I have many thoughts on the subject.

Here are the rules of the challenge:

Thank the Selector

Post 2 quotes for the dedicated Topic of the Day.

Here goes!

Thank you, Rory!

Meditations in Motion

“At the end of the day, let there be no excuses, no explanations, no regrets.”

I love this quote for its simplicity and for its “take charge of your own life” implied philosophy. I firmly believe that we are each in charge of our own happiness. I also think that the only one who believes an excuse is the person who issues it. We have one life to live, let’s live it with integrity and joy.

Meditations in Motion

I actually laughed out loud when I read this quote. It describes my thoughts perfectly. I sometimes think that if my (adult) children and friends would just listen to me, I could help them live their perfect lives. I crave surrender, peace and happiness, but I do love to be right!. Of course, I shake my head, bite my tongue, and laugh at myself. Look for more thoughts from me on this quote. I am rolling around ideas for a blog post on it.

Here are three bloggers from whom I would love to read quotes about living life:

Jan M. Flynn

Britchy from Bitchin in the Kitchen
