“And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.“– 1 Corinthians 13:2
Nothing in this world has meaning if you don’t have love in your heart. Wealth, power, prophetic ability, knowledge, wisdom, and even faith are nothing, nothing without love. This red month, when matters of the heart capture our attention, is a good time to do a heart-check.
Is your love hidden away or can those closest to you feel its gentle heat? Let love shine out of your heart. With love we are everything.

One of my favorite scriptures. God is love and if we don’t have love we don’t have God. Stay safe as you train for spring.

Oh, yes! I remember one time there was a varied thrush spotted near my house. A bunch of birders congregated on the spot but I never saw it. Thank you, MaryBeth.

A lovely flower and beautiful message. And the nice thing about it is we can all do something about it in our own lives by showing love to one another. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if everyone did that? Hugs!

It’s all too easy (and common) for me to forge ahead doing all the things, but forgetting to do them in love. I fold the clothes or drive the kids somewhere, inwardly grumbling. Lord, help me do even the most mundane things in love.

There is a beautiful song where in it he stops singing and says these verses. It is wonderful. I totally helps that he has an amazing accent! lol. I love these verses. Love is so important! In a world that seems to love self above all others, it is time for more of us to step up and show love. I do not think that this means condoning sin, but still loving others is the very heart of the Father.
